Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman directed members of the armed forces to ensure the safety and security of people’s lives, properties and important state establishments in any circumstance.
“Bangladesh Army is the symbol of trust for the people. Bangladesh Army has always stood by the people and will continue to do so for the interest of people and in any need of the state,” the Army Chief said while addressing army officers as part of the regular activities at the Helmet Auditorium in the Army headquarters in Dhaka on August 3
Highlighting the country’s current security situation, the army chief gave various instructions to the officers. He also replied to their queries.
He asked them to stay aware of the rumors on social media.
The army chief instructed the officers to discharge their duties with honesty and sincerity.
Top officials of the army attended the program either physically or through video teleconference.
