Lebanese drones targeted the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on October 19, though no casualties were reported.
The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed that Netanyahu’s private residence in Caesarea, in north-central Israel, was the target but said that neither he nor his wife were home at the time.
The Times of Israel reported that two additional drones fired from Lebanon were intercepted by air defenses.
“A UAV [unmanned aerial vehicle] was launched towards the prime minister's residence in Caesarea,” Netanyahu's office said in a statement.
“The prime minister and his wife were not at the location and there were no injuries in the incident.”
Lebanon and Israel have been regularly exchanging fire since October 2023.
Israeli attacks on Lebanon have killed at least 2,350 people and wounded around 11,000 others since last October, according to Lebanon's health ministry. More than 1.2 million people have been displaced.
Meanwhile, about 50 Israelis have been killed during the same period.
